Classic Game Fest Was Glorious!

We had an epic time at CGF 2016 and hope everyone there did too! We’re hoping to be back next year too, but in the meantime we have plenty of work to do for our RPG, need to finish up our Hero EP, continue to refine our live sound, and look towards our next album.

If you missed out on picking up our EP at CGF, worry not, you can now find it on Bandcamp. Simply name your price and it’s yours, keeping in mind a lot of hard work went into it. We sincerely hope it gives you as much joy as we had making it.

Expect more from us soon!

Classic Game Fest is right around the corner!

Classic Game Fest is right around the corner! We have been working hard to make sure everything is ready to go and hope to see you there! We will be playing at 10:10am Saturday (actually we kick off the entire weekend of music which is neat) and will have merch available if you would like to help support us, plus a playable version of the RPG we have been hard at work on!

It’s gonna be a blast, hope to see you there!

Patreon

We are excited to announce that we have launched our Patreon! Why Patreon? Well, there’s a few reasons, but mostly we wanted an avenue to be able to reach fans more directly that support our work and, in turn, give them something more unique. There are times when it doesn’t look like we’re doing much, and while a few times that is actually kinda true, a lot of it is that we’re working on things that are not particularly visible, such as writing music or working on our RPG. We wanted a platform to be able to show some of that and provide some exclusive things to devoted fans. Things like having access to our original FamiTracker and LSDJ files, previews of songs, alpha and beta copies of our RPG, among other things. Hence, Patreon!

It should be noted that we will continue to release content via our usual avenues as we did before and will still continue to do live shows and what not. None of that has changed and, as a result, Patreon is optional, but, of course, much appreciated! Either way, thanks to everyone who supports us in any manner you see fit, even if that’s just by enjoying our music, art, and games!

The Hero Demo

We are excited and proud to finally say we have finished our 3 song demo! It turned into a months long endeavor but that was, in part, due to things out of our control. But it’s here now!

You can give it a listen on our Soundcloud!

Also, we never formally welcomed Landon to the band yet he’s been with us for quite a while now. Sorry for the belated shout out, Landon! He will be handling our percussion and, as well, bring some creative insight and his own unique style to the band! We’re happy to have him aboard!

Likewise, we have had to say farewell to Katy as she has decided to leave the band to focus on her awesome job of making musicians of the younger generation. We’re sad to see her go, but we certainly can’t fault her and congratulate her on her noble cause!

While we can never replace Katy, we are looking for a new violinist. If anyone is interested that is in the San Antonio area, please reach out to us on our Facebook page!

Get a Map, Find Some Gems!

We are proud to finally announce the first completed song on our forthcoming Demo/EP (and, of course, on our eventual full album), Cold! We have played this song live before, and have posted a few live versions, but this is the first “studio” version and represents quite a bit of work. It took some time to get this out because we were trying to figure out the best way to approach it given the amount of funds we had to devote to it. While we would have loved to recorded it in a tape-based studio, we’re not there yet. So instead we did a multi-track in our home studios using what we had, though we did have the track mastered at a mastering studio.

You can give it a listen over here on SoundCloud. Once we finish the EP we will offer up the whole thing for download. For now, enjoy being Cold!
